James' 8th birthday party - Tubing at Hillend with Jack, Jack, Gregor, Angus, Angus, Rory, Campbell, Liam and Josie.
New website photoshoot for Ann's pal's Zinc and Siberian Larch clad holiday house on the shores of West Loch Tarbert. And James makes a new pal and learns how to fish for crabs, very successfully, with a piece of string, an old nail and some scraps of bacon. (New website to follow).
Hillwalking on Beinn Eunaich and Beinn a' Chochuill to celebrate Gordon's 60th birthday. But of course Gordon had to run across the Ben Cruachan Munros too! Amazing stuff for 60! As he passed us, in a blur, I managed to grab one photo featuring the birthday boy before he vanished again into the middle distance.

Episode three of the Dads' and Kids' camping story. Brighouse Bay in Dumfries and Galloway this time. A huge campsite with lots to keep the kids entertained, climaxing with the now traditional Saturday night beach bbq and open fire.
Another week in Aviemore. One or twice when the rain stopped I took some photographs.
A flying visit to Strathaven Airfield with my long-time flying buddy, architect Richard Murphy. Richard has designed a wacky new house for Colin, the airfield owner at Strathaven. The house sits right beside the runway and is currently being filmed by Channel 4 for the Grand Designs programme.
A well-timed week in Mijas, near Malaga. While biblical rain fell back home, we didn't see a cloud for a week!

Last minute decision for Aberlady FC to run a float in this year's Gala. Lap of the village towed along by the local tractors, chucking sweets and toy footballs at passers-by.
Wee mini-break at Birnam, leading up to the Etape Caledonia cycling sportive.
Club flyout to the west coast. At last the weather allows a flyout to take place again, although it did try its best to prevent us from leaving on Friday. Base camp for two nights was established on the Gigha airstrip from which some went to Northern Ireland and my mini-squadron flew to the Island of Coll, for a bbq lunch on the sand dunes, and Mull, via a spectacular Hebridean backdrop. And challenged myself to grab a photo of each final approach - without crashing!
Annual chocolate treasure hunt, up the Law for some egg rolling and an afternoon messing about and eating chocolate on the beach. An East Lothian Easter.
Bidean nam Bian, Glencoe. It's been on my to do list for years, no, decades, and finally got round to it today. A great day on the hills with very mixed weather - half the time sunshine and great viz, the other half snow and whiteout.
