Yorkshire And Derbyshire Wanderings

On viewing the weather forecast, plans for Mull were ditched and we took a follow the weather van tour into Yorkshire and Derbyshire while doing our best to dodge the rain. That was mostly successful other than an early and unexpected soaking on Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales. We were so taken aback at the rain and low cloud on the top that when the skies cleared behind us as we descended, we stopped, turned around and headed back up. We were not to be defeated by the weather gods here! Further overnights and wanders in Derbyshire at Hebden Bridge, the Peak District for a round of Mam Tor and finally back into Yorkshire for for a clifftop walk from Robin Hood's Bay to Ravenscar. There were no further soakings to report.
